Plant Care & Info
Water: During warm months, you should water your golden barrel cactus on a regular basis whenever you start to notice the soil drying out. In the wintertime, however, overly moist soil can lead to rotting. When it starts to get cold, make sure to cut back on the amount of water you’re giving your cactus.
Light: The golden barrel cactus grows best when given plenty of sunlight. If grown indoors, it should be kept in a bright room or a conservatory.
Fertiliser: During the summer, you should aim to fertilise your plant once each month with a high potassium fertiliser.
